Black/Rainbow Collar Girl aka Dallas:
Medium-Hard, Breeding Quality. Dallas was going to go to her new home next week and there were some unforseen problems that have come up, and she was unable to take Dallas. She is devestated and hopes Dallas finds the perfect home.

This girl has great conformation, heavy bone, and there is nothing "Bitchy" about her. She is very smart and can be a bit willfull. She is extremely sociable and wants to have fun and play. She also has excellent retrieve drive. This one found the maze before it was time to do that test, and she went in, all the way through and came back out, very proud of herself. (She is also the one here, who showed the other puppies how to climb out of the puppy pen). I would really like to see this one shown....not only does she have great conformation, she moves like a dream.

We will know coats (plush or smooth in about 5 weeks). All are very similar in size, and seem very healthy. Pictures coming soon.

June 11, 2006, The Line Up: The naming theme is dogs (and two cats) that have made a memorable impression on me in my job as an Animal Control Officer. They will never be forgotten. This is my way to honor them.

July 20, 2006: They are running, playing with toys, enjoying the outdoors! I am seeing that high drive in quite a few! (One "killed" my pant leg today!! LOL) These are Double New Blood puppies, so many have that quickly rechargable energy and drive of their parents, and some will be capable of SAR or other jobs. Of course, there may be a couch potato or two also.

August 4, 2006: I just had to post before we were totally finished with the LER. We just finished up conformation. I am so excited about one of the puppies....this is THE best put together pup produced here yet. Our Siri passes on many of his great conformation qualities to his pups....but this puppy has it all!! He also has that huge boned old-style Shiloh look too. And movement to die for! Great ears...oh I could go on and on. I cant wait to put the whole package together when we do temperament. I have a feeling we will be looking for a show-breeding home for this guy. On looks alone, he will be a show-stopper easily. If he has his daddy's flashy "I know I look good" outgoing temperament. WOW, LOOK OUT!!

All the other puppies are well put together, as expected from Luna/Siri. We got some great Shiloh ears....all look like they will stand, no problem. Several have that awesome movement Siri is known for passing along, and the heavy bone. I will definatley keep everyone updated as we progress through the temperament portion of the LER. I am thrilled with this litter!!

LER Results - August 5, 2006:

Orange Collar Boy (aka Teddy): He is a Medium/Medium-Hard temperament, Show Quality Brown Sable Plush Male. His new owner MUST buy him a squeeky ball....he LIVES for the squeeky ball. He is independant, and might use that to get into trouble. He is very much like his Daddy Sirius. Teddy is a happy puppy, gunsure, and very good retrieve drive. He does like to "do" before he "thinks" and tried to go over the edge of the maze (just like his father did at his LER!) Teddy has good focus when he is doing something he likes to do....did I mention the squeeky ball? Must have squeeky ball!! BTW-Sirius's favorite here is.....you guessed it....a squeeky ball.

Rainbow Collar Girl: She is a buff plush female, Pet Upgradeable Quality. She is a Medium temperament. She has a little bit of her father's stubbornness, in fact called "Sirius-like" by the evaluator. There is a possibility of some self-indulgence. She is somewhat aloof with strangers, but will warm up. She will be easy to train once shown what to do. In the maze she tried to go over the edge. Once she was shown what to do, she zipped right through. She has play Drive++ so will love toys!

Light Blue Collar Boy: He is a White Smooth Male. Pet Upgradeable, Medium temperament. This guy is our Police or SAR prospect. He will need a job to do. He is a thinker and made it out of the maze in about 2 seconds. VERY impressive!  He is gunsure and has a lot of drive. He killed the squeeky ball, killed the tug, bit the can, and then ran off to check out the dandelions, and went after them as they blew in the wind. This guy also has a great nose...he was very interested in all the smells on a big rock nearby. He is a happy boy, yet has an independent streak. The evaluator calls him Independent, Confidant and  trainable. He investigates his surroundings with amazing confidence.

Red Collar Boy: Brown Sable smooth, Medium-Med-Soft. Pet Upgradeable. This puppy followed the evaluator, happily wagging his tail. He was a little slow on the maze, but not because he is stupid! He was assessing the situation and trying to figure the most efficient way out. He did not panic at all. He is a happy and confident puppy, has plenty of retrieve drive, and is gunsure. He will like lots of toys/games/fun to bring out his playfulness. He is also on the serious side, and could shut-down and ignore you if pushed too hard. He reminds me very much of our Isis who is a serious, well mannered girl, but will play with her people.

Dark Blue Collar Boy: Dark Brown Sable Plush male Pet Quality, Medium temperament. This guy was my favorite since about 2 weeks old. I found out why at the LER. He has "that" temperament! (He looks a lot like my Stormy boy). He is proud, confident, intelligent and somewhat a goof. He also has some willfullness, and does it with a grin on his face! He is very happy and playful. He will be a happy worker. His retrieve drive is excellent. He brought the ball back 3X in a row, all with the happy bounce in his step. His temperament reminds me a lot of Sirius when he was a puppy. This is a "Hello World!" puppy.

Black/Rainbow Collar Girl: Medium-Hard, Breeding Quality.

Green Collar Boy (Loki) - SOLD: This boy is a white smooth White Smooth male. Medium/Medium Hard temperament, Breed Quality. He is a submissive puppy who almost fell asleep while on his back. He is trusting with humans. He also has a high pain tolerance. He is a very willing worker, and wants guidance from his human. He will work for praise. This puppy has no self-indulgence. To him, it is all about his human. He will make a good working dog. He will play, but not in excess...just for occasional fun. He went through his testing with a wagging tail.

Yellow Collar Girl (aka Angel 2) - SOLD: This little girl is a white smooth. She is Pet Quality due to her smaller size. She is a VERY outgoing, stable, happy, secure puppy. Her final temperament will be soft to med-soft. This girl has a lot of confidence. She is trusting and very happy, happy happy. She has play drive...chased the ball, played with the can, killed the tug, and wants to play. She thought her way through the maze, and is very gunsure. She will be very easy to train.

Black/Light Blue Collar Boy - SOLD: Medium to Med-soft, Pet Upgradeable Quality. This guy is full of himself! Everything he did, was with pride! He may also have a little bit of cockiness. He did perfect in the maze, and has great retrieve drive. He was very proud of himself when he grabbed the tug, killed it and drug it away. He decided it was more fun when the evaluator was at the other end, so he brought it back. He also returned the squeeky ball 3X in a row....of course after pouncing on it! He does everything with his head held high, and tail wagging. He may show a tad independence and willfullness, but overall quite trainable. He would also like someone near him most of the time, so someone who works at home, or a stay at home parent would be awesome for him. He would love all the attention kids would give him too.

Purple Collar Girl - SOLD: Gray Sable smooth female. Medium temperament. Pet Upgradeable. She is a happy confident puppy who will bond easily to her people. She could have a little stubborness due to her eye contact and head up in the submission test. She wagged her tail through most of the testing, and is definately a social butterfly. She is a thinker and was one of the puppies who problem solved the maze. She went to her new home, where their property is appropriately called "Shiloh Hill".

Overall Luna/Sirius litter observations: This was a very happy, stable and playful litter. There was a lot of Sirius' goofiness and stable temperament. I also saw a lot of Luna's calmness and easygoing nature. All the puppies were very social. Once again we had a nice range of temperaments. I was thrilled to see all Luna and Sirius' best qualities coming through! I did see some of Sirius' willfullness and independence, but maybe not such a bad thing! That is the kind of dog I prefer! All were thinkiers, many very capable of a job. We had a lot of play drive and retrieve drive too. These will be fun dogs.
