Some of you like to read the write-ups on the litter evaluations, so her are the Dallas/Zeke puppiesSmile I might have a smooth available. I will know which one toward the middle of the week. "Tubby Wubbie" the plush is going to his new home tomorrow morning. I am still waiting to go through results with the remaining puppy people. Dallas/Zeke:
Purple Collar female (Available), Light Brown Sable smooth, Medium Hard temperament with Aloofness and Independence. She has a very high pain tolerance, and can be self indulgent. She has no prey or retrieve drive and a little play drive. She is confident, stubborn and will be slower to bond. She is not a velcro dog by any stretch. She does love to investigate her surroundings, and has no fear. She may play some with toys, but it is really not her thing. She will do great with an alpha leader, whom she finds worthy to bond to.
Pink Collar female, Darker Gray sable smooth, Medium temperament. This girl is a "flirt". She was blatantly flirting with Pams husband toward the end of her testing. (I think Bill almost took her home!) It was really interesting to watch the bonding process throughout her series of tests. She is a brave puppy with some stubbornness and independence. She will use her nose for both air and ground scenting. She caught my scent through the testing, and threw her head up, sniffed the air, turned her head and looked right at me. She has some prey drive, lots of play drive and will retrieve. She will also play "keep away". She has some aloofness at first, but will bond.
Blue Collar boy, Darker gray sable smooth, Medium-hard temperament. This puppy is fascinated with sound. He loved the sound of the can with pennies, and the sound of the squeeky ball, but was bored with them when they quit making noise. He was also alert to the wind blowing, the birds singing, creaking in the tree's, and traffic. He takes in all his surroundings. He is a serious puppy and will bond quickly. He can be easily distracted. We kept calling him "very observant". He does not miss much. He is independant, willful, and some aloofness, but bonds if he thinks you are worthy.
Green Collar Boy, Light brown sable plush, medium temperament with some noise sensitivity. This is our velcro puppy. He bonds immediatly, and is not the least bit aloof. He followed the tester, happily wagging his tail, through all the tests. He has plenty of play and retrieve drive, and not a whole lot of prey drive. He is confident and a willing worker. He will be a snap to train. He may depend on his trainer to guide him. He has some noise sensitivity, so his person will need to work on desensitizing him to sounds. |
