Red Boy (black/tan) is another Velcro type pup with his people. He is a bit aloof with strangers. He has some play drive, does have prey drive, and is very gun sure. I did note some tentativeness in his testing though. He was right in the mid range for submission but had super high pain tolerance. He is structurally nicely put together, great ears, nice bone, masculine head, etc, but has a questionable tail. We looked at it several different times, and during conformation it appeared to be perfect, but noted some hooking later. He will be placed as a pet upgradeable, and priced at $1800

Hot Pink Girl (black/tan) is a beautiful puppy, with a very pleasing expressive face. She is very happy, playful, bouncy and social. She is not as â€œoff the wallâ€ energetic as some of her littermates, but does have prey drive and play drive. She scored very low on submission and very high on pain, and is rated as a medium-hard to hard temperament. I was disappointed to see her tail hooking. This is â€œmy typeâ€ of pup! I would have liked to have kept her or placed her in a breeding home, but she will be placed as a Pet, and priced at $1800.

Purple Girl (sable) is very nice size, nice bone, great masculine head, and those nice small triangular ears. She is very gun sure, energetic, happy, plenty of play drive, prey drive, and LOVES people, and is a proud puppy. She is a medium temperament. She will look a lot like her father when she matures. Unfortunately, she too has a hook tail and will be placed as a pet quality puppy, and priced at $1800

Dark Blue Boy (sable) has beautiful structure, nice bone, is a happy, and alert puppy. He is less energetic than his littermates, and has a tad play drive and no prey drive. He is a Medium-hard temperament. He is very inquisitive and alert. I was sad to see a hook tail on him. He will be placed as a pet quality puppy, and priced at $1800.

Light Pink Girl (black/tan) is a very happy and energetic puppy. She has tons of play drive, prey drive and even retrieve drive. She would do awesome with an active family who will do things with her. She is confident and full of herself. She is also very gun sure. Light Pink girl has a partial underbite, involving her front four teeth. She also has an improper tail set and hook, and will be reduced to $1000, and will be placed as strictly Pet Quality.

Lime Green Boy (black/tan) is a chunk! He has nice bone, and super solid/wide pup. I was disappointed to see his tail hooking. During the temperament testing he did great until the squeaky ball test. He was very worried about the sound. Then he was also concerned with the can of pennies. He did ok with the noise from the pan during the gunfire test, but due to the noise sensitivity, and his hook tail, he will be reduced to $1000, and be placed as strictly a pet quality puppy.

Dark Green Boy (black/tan) is the pick male from the litter. He is put together beautifully, and has the temperament to go with it. He is happy, playful, fearless, fun, confident, with just a tad of independence. He is a nice solid Medium temperament. He has some prey drive, plenty of play drive, and will be a fun active puppy. He has a nice masculine head, nice straight tail, and great triangular ears, and heavy bone and HUGE thigh. He is Breeding/Show quality.

Light Blue Boy (black/tan) has energy plus. He is very into humans and not so much with toys. He was a bit clingy through the testing, but not afraid. He is more of a Velcro type that will thrive on praise. He has super high pain tolerance, and scored low on submission, but due to his clinginess and strong desire to please, he is rated a Medium temperament. His biggest fault is a hook tail, and will be placed as a Pet Quality, and priced at $1800.

Rainbow Girl (black/tan) is very high energy, and is in constant motion. She will do great with an active family or with a job to do. She was very low on submission and it was difficult to get an accurate pain reading on her because she did not want to be held still to perform the test. She is very happy, very playful, and loves life. Her attention span is on the shorter side, and she has many moving partsïŠ She has great retrieve drive, play drive plus and prey drive. She is a social pup, and is very gun sure. I am undecided on her tail, and will place her as a pet upgradeable pup, and priced at $1800.

Overall Observations: Nice, active litter, with lots of super personalities. We got the ears and bone I had hoped for with this combination, but seemed to pull in some hook tails from behind Elektra and Danzig, which I was not expecting. It was fun to do the temperament testing and see certain traits coming from Elektra, Siri and Danzig.

Elektra/Danzig (Fall 2009) I expect puppies very similar to the Dallas/Danzig puppies, as Elektra and Dallas are sisters. Since Elektra and Danzig are both plush, this will be an all plush DNB litter. The RC on this litter is a nice low 15%. Both Elektra and Danzig have beautiful movement, and I expect to see this come through in their puppies. Many of these puppies will also inherit their parents athleticism. Elektra is the "clown" at Strauss Haus, and finds many ways to make us smile and laugh at her antics. She is very charming, and very loyal to her people. Danzig also has a very pleasing, friendly temperament, and I expect to see happy go lucky pups in their litter.
