• I
agree to feed my puppy no less than 3 times a day until he/she
reaches 9 months of age, then I will feed him/her no less than
2 times a day
for his/her life.
• I agree NEVER to use a chemically preserved Dog Food or
regular puppy food. I will feed my puppy a naturally preserved
kibble. The following
foods are approved by Strauss Haus Shepherds: a) Flint River
Ranch Premium Health Food , b) Canidae, c) Nutro, d) Wysong,
e) California Natural,
f) Eagle, g) Diamond, h) Natural Balance, i) Orjien Large Breed
Puppy. I will not feed my puppy regular “puppy food” but “Large
Breed puppy food” may be acceptable.
Please consult me first if you desire to feed a different brand
so I may ascertain it’s quality.
• I agree to feed my puppy RAW ground turkey or chicken
in his/her meal, at the rate of no less that ¼ cup per
feeding.
• I agree to feed my puppy plain yogurt at the rate of a
heaping Tablespoon per day, or supplement with “Fast Track”,
“Pro-zyme”, “K-zyme”, or “Probios”.
• I agree NEVER to supplement with any calcium product,
but to offer natural calcium such as cottage cheese, in at
least one feeding a day at the rate of 2
heaping Tablespoons.
• I agree to give my puppy MetaC (Vitamin C supplement)
or an approved Sodium Ascorbate at the recommended dosage for
the age of the puppy.
(Meta C comes with a dose sheet). This can be ordered from

• I agree to give my puppy an approved supplement such as
a) N.R. Seaweed mineral food, b) Solid Gold Seameal, c) Super
Blue Green Algae, d) Daily Greens
or any other approved supplement.
• I agree to give my puppy some raw fresh fruits or vegetables
during the day, such as carrots, celery, apples, etc.
NO TOMATOES! NO GRAPES! Carrots make
a very natural and nutritious chew toy!
• I agree to give my puppy at least 1-4 pieces of RAW (fresh
or frozen) chicken wings, plus lean ground beef, or organ meat
such as liver/hearts, etc.
3-4 times a week for his/her entire life. I also agree to give
at least one fresh raw beef bone (with marrow) once a week.
• I agree my puppy will not get grease, small cut beef bones, any cooked
bones (cooking is what makes bones brittle and can choke
and cause other damage to your puppy), or sugary or starchy
foods. I will always check with my breeder before feeding any foods or supplements
not listed.
• I agree to provide my puppy with a supply of fresh water
at all times, and will not give any other beverage without
the consent of my breeder.
• I agree to keep all receipts available to prove I have
followed these guidelines. Furthermore, I agree to provide
my puppy with regular vet visits and stool
checks to assure my puppy is parasite free.
• I agree to take my puppy to Puppy Kindergarten. If puppy
kindergarten is not available, I agree to take my puppy on
frequent outings where he/she will
be exposed to other people, animals and situations. I understand
that failure to give my puppy this exposure could result in
shyness, or damage his/her
ability to socialize properly with other people as well as
animals. I agree to continue socialization as my puppy gets older, through
shows, obedience class,
and/or continued outings in public places (parks, the mall, etc.).
