We loved what we saw in Shelby's litter with Gunny, and decided to pump up the size even more with Zeke. This will be an all plush litter with sables and duals. Shelby has a wonderful, active and outgoing temperament. My vet office has called Shelby their favorite.

Elektra/Gryphyn, November
24-25, 2007
We received great things from the Elektra/Gryphyn litter!
I predict temperaments much like our Luna/Phoenix litter,
with some Artus mixed in for fun! Gryphyn is a tall,
leggy boy and Elektra is our stocky, large boned girl.
Elektra is our buff plush out of Luna/Sirius, and Gryphyn
is out of Saber2/Phoenix. Both Elektra and Gryphyn have
outgoing, friendly temperaments. Elektra has the "comedian" gene
we often see in Artus kids and grandkids.
Gryphyn is
the most confident, easygoing dog I have met. I expect
happy go lucky, confident, energetic and fun puppies
from this breeding. [see related pictures] Gryphyn is
a large, gray sable plush with a temperament that is
absolutely amazing. Nothing phases him. He is such a
friendly, outgoing and very well adjusted boy! He spent
two days with us (complete strangers) and away from his
mom and dad, and he settled right in at our place without
so much as a woof. Gryphyn's PennHip (L) 0.34 (R) 0.34

Shelby3/Gunny, November
3, 2007
Shelby is our happy go lucky NB2 (Artus) girl. She has
a fun loving attitude, and LOVES people, and other dogs.
Shelby is very active, and loves to play. We selected
Gunny for her first litter because they have much the
same outlook on life. Gunny is a sweet boy with a love
for people. Both are very confident, and sweet spirited.
I expect great family companions, and maybe some with
working capabilities. We received both plush and smooth
coats in this litter.

Luna/Phoenix,
January 8, 2007
This will be Luna's last litter.
After much debate, we decided to give her one more opportunity
to add some really awesome dogs to the upcoming Shiloh
Breeding stock. This will be a NB2 litter with NO
Artus anywhere! The females and males from this litter
will go great with many of the Artus boys and girls out
there. Or, even the non-NB's!! There is also no Grizz
in these lines. Luna's first date with Phoenix (by AI)
was today. We will meet again on Saturday. We expect
both plush and smooth, and a variety of sables. I am
doubting we will get white, but there is a chance! We
have two plush breeding females already spoken for and
3 Pet quality puppies. I expect temperaments very similar
to the Jessie/Gryphyn litter. (Jessie is Luna's sister,
and Phoenix is Gryphyns dad). In this litter we expect
size! Luna and Phoenix are both large dogs. Luna is 28" at
the shoulder and about 100#. Phoenix is about 31" I
believe. We know he can produce size...look at Gryphyn
and Acer! And Luna has produced some HUGE puppies too,
like Loki, Toby and Teddy! This is a NB2 (Orbit) litter,
with no Artus in the background.
Puppy Pictures & Stories:
Jessie/Gryphyn,
September 5, 2006
This will be a NB2 (Orbit)litter. Jessie is
a Goldie/Orbit and Gryphyn is a Saber2/Phoenix. We should
have both smooth and plush, and a nice range of temperaments.
This will be Jessie's last litter.
Gryphon is a large, gray sable plush with a temperament
that is absolutely amazing. Nothing phases him. He is
such a friendly, outgoing and very well adjusted boy!
He spent two days with us (complete strangers) and away
from his mom and dad, and he settled right in at our
place without so much as a woof.

Luna/Sirius, June 9/10, 2006
This is a repeat of our May 2005 pairing.
We have both plush and smooth coats, and have sables, whites & sables.
These pups are a great combination of Luna/s sweet spirit & calm
and very loving nature and Sirius clown-like fun approach
to the world.
Puppy Pictures & Stories:
Luna/Sirius, May 23, 2005
We have both Plush and smooth coats, and like her sister
Jessie's litter with Siri, we will have sables, whites,
sables, Bi's and one solid black. Luna is a sweet spirit,
and is calm and very loving. She is softer in temperament
than her sister Jessie. (RC
16.7)
Puppy Pictures & Stories:
Jessie/Sirius,
October 31, 2004
Jessie & Sirius couldn't wait to show us once again what they were
made of. Puppies began arriving October 31, 2004, and continued
through coming into November 1st. We are hoping for a repeat
in temperaments and coats on this fabulous litter.

Litter Evaluation
Summary -
January 2, 2005
Another
awesome litter from Jessie/Sirius. Once again, we had trouble
finding faults with the puppies at the conformation portion
of the LER. Most have their Daddys beautiful movement, and
good bone. This litter is "mellower" than the
last, with not so many hard temperaments. We actually had
a "soft" temperament! Only 2 were medium hard,
and the rest in between.
Jessie/Sirius,
April 17, 2004
Our first litter
arrived April 17, 2004, at Strauss Haus Shepherds from our
Sirius & Jessie
breeding. We were blessed with 9 healthy pups, including
4 white ones. Their temperaments ranged from Medium-Soft
to Medium Hard as expected. Most all these puppies will
thrive in homes with active families.
This
litter will be registered as "Double NB2" (2nd
Generation Double New Blood).

Litter Evaluation Summary
June 21, 2004
This
was a great litter, we had no major faults in conformation,
and all temperaments were as predicted [medium soft to medium
hard]. We had one little "spit-fire" (black collar)
who would do very well in schutzhund or Search and Rescue,
and we also had some quieter puppies. Everyone else was
right in the middle.
Most of the puppies are settling in to their new homes and
doing very well. We still have one "unclaimed" puppy at our kennel...red collared female (called Rosie).
Purple (formerly white), pink (now
named Coco), orange (now named Racky) and light blue
went to New
Zion Shiloh Shepherds. Yellow (now named Gabriel) collared
boy is at his new home with a family (who waited over 2
years for him!!) in Olympia, Washington. Black and Green
have moved to Anchorage Alaska, and baby Blue is with a
family here in Port Angeles (I had to keep her close!).
Baby Blue's (now named Tara) new family has been waiting
for her over 3 years!
The temperament test went very well, and all the puppies
ACED the maze, which shows incredible intellegence!
Most of the puppies showed a tendency for easy trainability
and wanting to please. We were absolutely thrilled with
this litter, and are excited to see what our breedable puppies
will produce in 2 years from now!
Aug
'04 update: Rosie has gone to a wonderful family in California.
